a return to your soul’s light

remember

meet your HEALER

My own journey taught me that healing is not about becoming someone new.

It is about remembering who we were beneath everything we learned to carry.

I’m Joanna Aquino: a mother, U.S. Navy Veteran, Mortgage Loan Officer, and Spiritual Healer.

My healing journey began during one of the most challenging crossroads of my life. As an active duty servicemember and mother, I became used to constantly being in motion. From the outside, I was strong, capable, and doing what needed to be done. But beneath that strength, I was living in survival mode, overwhelmed, spiritually depleted, and increasingly disconnected from myself.

Somewhere along the way, I had stopped hearing my own soul.

Yet deep down, there was still a quiet knowing:

There was more.

Not more to accomplish or become, but more of myself waiting to be understood.

My children became some of my greatest mirrors, reflecting back the places within myself that were asking for attention and healing. That reflection led me inward and eventually to Reiki, crystal healing, meditation, and the Modern Mystery School.

Receiving my Life Activation became a turning point. Something within me began to reawaken. I started recognizing patterns and limitations I had once accepted as “the way life is,” while reconnecting with my own light, inner wisdom, and sense of possibility.

My path continued within the Modern Mystery School through the study and practice of energy healing, Hermetic wisdom, Kabbalah, Astrology, and tarot. Through it all, I came to understand:

Healing is not a straight line.

It is not about erasing what we have lived through or becoming someone entirely new.

It is an invitation to meet ourselves more deeply.

And from that understanding, The Light Side of the Moon was born.

Like the moon, we move through phases. There are seasons when our light feels brilliant and unmistakable, and others when parts of ourselves disappear into shadow.

But the moon reminds us:

What is hidden is not gone.

The Light Side of the Moon was created as a space where reflection and healing can exist without judgment. Where shadow is not something to fear or hide, and light is not something we have to earn.

A space to turn inward, meet yourself more deeply, and reconnect with the wisdom, light, and divine nature already within you.

My role is to not give you the answers to who you are.

It’s to walk beside you and create a space where you can remember.

THE MOON REMAINS WHOLE

and so do you

There are seasons when we feel completely connected to who we are, and others when that light feels distant.

But, like the moon, we do not become less whole simply because part of us is hidden.

We are not here to chase the light or escape the dark.

We are here to understand both.

Like the moon, we move through phases: moments of illumination and seasons of shadow. Yet through every phase, the moon remains whole.

And so do we.

Healing is not about becoming someone new, nor is it about leaving the darker parts of ourselves behind.

It asks us to stop abandoning ourselves in the dark.

To turn toward what has been hidden with compassion. To listen to the wounds, fears, patterns, and pieces of ourselves we may have learned to reject, and to discover the wisdom they have been carrying.

Because sometimes the parts of ourselves we are most afraid to face are the very parts asking to be understood.

When shadow and light are no longer at war within us, we begin to remember something that was true all along:

We were always whole.

Perhaps it was always about remembering what was there beneath it all.

Your light.

Your wholeness.

The divine within.

final invitation

the return to yourself can begin exactly where you are

You don’t need to have everything figured out.

You don’t need to become someone different before you begin.

You don’t need to wait until you feel completely ready.

Come exactly as you are.

There is nothing you need to prove, perfect, or become before turning inward.

Because beneath everything you have carried, everything you have questioned, and every version of yourself,

You are still whole.

YOUR LIGHT WAS NEVER LOST.

IT WAS ONLY FORGOTTEN.
